My first christmas in Brazil was a bit hard for me too. The boys shirtless, and the girls in swimsuits all day. Big change from the bulky christmas sweaters, and blankie sleepers they used to get each year.

lol, I love where this thread is going

Brenda, last year my sisters PIL from Brazil spend Christmas with us ... and they did not like the cold and the snow at all. (I can understand them so well, lol - the excitment over the first snowflakes each year gets pretty old after a few days of shoveling the sidewalk and having to dig out your car). One year we went to FL immediately after Christmas ... soooo nice! I'm just not made for the cold, lol.

ETA: to come back to the original theme of the thread: I always try to make the PS as neutral as possible, even with themed Megas there's usually a choice of skipping/swapping themed elements and papers...

I am enjoying this months challenges more thanks ladies Was overdosing a bit on all the Halloween stuff! Even the thanksgiving related items lend themselves more to general use this month.

heehee - i love the snow as long as I can look out the window at it - but if i have to drive in it or be outside in it, i like it less!

Oh and the quote challenge this month is loosely gratitude based, but I try and pick quotes that can me used in many ways- be sure to check it out - there is free word art to use on it - but it's not required to use it.

I second that emotion -- I am one of those Christians who do not celebrate Halloween.

I am a true Halloween fanatic!! I don't get into the history of it all... to me, it's history is my cousins and I dressing up in cheap plastic costumes going door to door scoring free candy!! LOL! But, I've always been into the ghosts and goblins and things that go bump in the night, my favorite type of movie is horror My birthday is two days after Halloween, which is why I think I like it so much! I always had ghosts, witches, pumpkins, etc at my birthday party! lol And some years my Birthday Party was on Halloween, so the two have always gone hand in hand in my world!

And, I didn't think you were complaining at all! Ideas and suggestions are always welcome here! We love to get your feedback on our site!
