Default Freestyle Challenge for November '08

Greetings, all Challenge-seekers!
Here is the participation bonus to all who will accept my challenge this month. Let's focus on the word "free" in Freestyle. Here's what I would like you to do ... We all know butterflies are free, right? Here is a free kit, which I created especially for my last birthday.

Download Part 1 here
Download Part 2 here

Using only the items from this kit, please create for me a page with the theme/subject of "freedom." You may use fonts or alphas not created by me, of course, for your title and journalling, but that is all that is allowed. And you may use your photos, too..

Let's see your Freedom Page!
Thanks for joining in ~ it's much appreciated!
Stella

Thank you Stella. What a beautiful kit! Butterflies always remind me of my mother. She went to a program held by the cancer center every year that she was able where each cancer survivor released a butterfly. When she and my dad both passed away from cancer within a few weeks of each other we had a service for both of them that all of the distant relatives could attend. We released butterflies at the ceremony as a symbol of them breaking free from their tired earthly bodies and taking flight into their new lives. I found this poem which was perfect to read before releasing the butterflies and I included it. Here is my layout:

Default My Very First Post!

When I saw the theme, I had to play. It looks a bit sparse to me? Oh well - I have much to learn.

Thank you for those beautiful papers and embellishments - I just had to use something a bit more... boy. I'm going to use them for something for one of my girls very soon.

Well, my bad....didn't read the directions very well and made my layout using a a couple different kits. But I had a great photo that fit the "Freedom" part of the Challenge well, so I'm gonna post it anyways to show it off! :p Thanks for another great Challenge Stella. Love the colors.

Default It only took two tries...

Ok - I did it right this time... I used NOTHING but what I was supposed to. I had forgotten all about that pic (it was taken this summer) - but it worked out perfect for this challenge.

Thank you!

Default Ah, THANKS LADIES!!!

What a beautiful array of layouts you have gifted us with this month!!
I absolutely LOVE all of them and they will be my most precious memory of SAS.

Unfortunately, I will be leaving at the end of this month, November, and I won't be posting any more Challenges.

I wish to thank you all especially for being so supportive of my challenges, which I have so enjoyed creating for you.

I'll see you around SAS, but no longer as a designer, just as a member.
Thanks again
Stella

PS: If you, reading this, would like to submit a layout for this challenge, it is still open until the 30th, so feel 'free' to do so.
