Inspiration Challenge- April 2009

Hi everyone!

Thanks for checking out this challenge for this month, i hope you join in!
the theme for this month is Spring Rain so i've been trying to think of a way to tie that into the inspiration theme.. lol

here's the posting bonus for completion of this challenge :-)


I got to thinking about rain and spring and different artistic symbolic interpretations of those terms.. spring usually symbolizes new beginnings and cleanliness new life etc. while rain usually represents sadness, nurturing new life, and cleanliness as well.

It seems to me that this is the perfect theme for this month with all the changes taking place here at SAS, sadness for those who are leaving us and happiness for the new beginnings taking place as well.

here are some selected quotes that you may use in your layouts
maybe you to think of using your contribution to brighten someones day
as a gift, easter card, printable craft, etc.

I don't know if you noticed this or not... but if people use the quote about rain and sun to make a rainbow they can enter 2 challenges with 1 quote.

Yes, very similar quotes, but not exactly the same. Sherah, are you requiring us to use the quotes somewhere in the layout, or are we just supposed to gain inspiration from them? Thanks!

sorry about that allwright1 and kimberkatt, i guess i should have been more clear.... (can you tell that the quote challenge was my previous challenge?) ha ha ha ha ha! i can't seem to break myself out of that rut very well.

you may either use the quotes themselves (or just fragments of them) in your layouts or use them as inspiration for the theme and photos used in your layouts and create your own journaling from the themes... using anything mentioned here as possible inspiration to help you get your creative minds whirring!

here are all the Spring themes i used in the paragraph above maybe you can use one of these as inspiration for your layout:

I have a Fresh New Memory Page For this Challenge.
I started with the Beatles Lyric and well it kinda sent my inspiration a totally different direction. :eek:
I did use a Very Springy New Kit By Mitsybelle though :p Hope it is OK

Here's mine! I actually scrapped! LOL! My internet was out all day yesterday, so I had time to just sit and be creative!

I didn't use one of the quotes, per say, but I did use a small phrase from one of the quotes! It was my inspiration for this layout!
