I am so nervous about this, I keep putting it off, but if I don't try I will never know, so here goes with the first bit - little steps.
I've made most my papers - they seemed to come easy. But am having trouble with # naming my kit # settling for a theme # creating some of my elements # creating a "kit preview" layout (besides not having the kit finished) So I am just going to take baby steps and show bits as I am comfortable with them. I don't want to rush it and create duds, or throw it in the tooo hard basket and die wondering whether I've made the grade or not! So here are some of my papers ![]() ![]() ![]() back with more in a couple of days ps: open to any suggestions for tutorials on presenting a "kit preview" and any other constructive criticism. pss: I only know how to include images that I have uploaded either as a Layout or like these at imageshack - is there a better way to show thumbnails than imageshack? tfl Sue |

your papers are very pretty. I have a hard time naming kits, too. I have a template that you can use to put your papers in if you would like. A little something I threw together. There is a thread somewhere that tells of some stuff you can put in kits. I will send you a PM later and get you a few things to use and some resources. Hope this helps.

I love your palette! There are lots of preview-maker templates out there...check at DigiScrapShop.com....I saw one there just the other day! Lots of templates, CU items, etc...sorry if I'm not much help...

Oh! Melanie, I would like it too.
Elementst are the hardest thing for me as I'm not sure what to put in my kit. There're some things that are my 'All time' main elements such as flowers and leaves but for other things. I just get stuck!

I don't mind sharing some of the doodles that I have. I will share the preview template that I have also. It is one I made myself.

Thank you Melanie! I would like to know about the thread that you've mentioned whuch tells of some stuff you can put in kits. I am interested in this one. I don't have problem with the preview. It's one of the difficult part but it's the most part I like so I love to do previews, hehe.

Hi Naz1996
I create them using gradients in Indesign. Just rotate the papers and vary the gradients until you get the effect you are after, it really is trial and error. cheers Sue |
