As you see it didn't work. When I add the dirct link to the box at the bottom of the edit signature area that is Option 1, it keeps telliing me the file is too large to upload. Is there ay help for me? (lol)

Doesn't work for me either. Wont let me delete present image in signature cause says can't delete while in signature! Then it says invalid file or file too large.I tried using different codes-direct link & html
I don't have an option when I right click on your free blinkie to choose "copy image location". I choose save as & save picture as .Tried both ways. Tried to upload to photobucket using the web url & upload from cocmputer. Nothing working.

scroll down at at your left you will find all the different links.
click on the image code, make sure it says copied.
go to the user cp in this forum
click on edit signature
now go to the edit siggy box, lloks like the post boxes, paste the image code into this box
I always click preview signature to see what it looks like
then click save signature. should work. crossing my fingers

Okay ladies... I went in and fixed the siggy for you... let me know if it's working or not....

The code should look like this in your signature box: (without the spaces in the IMG tag)

My bad! I should have told you to copy the IMG code and paste in the box instead of the direct link & insert image.... sorry!

Thank KImberkatt for fixing for me. Maybe you could edit your previous post on how to post the blinkie in case someone doesn't read the entire threads & see the correction.??
I tried to fix earlier but sometimes I can't get logged in. I log in,get the window thanking me for logging in,redirected to forum & not logged in! Other times I have no problem. Hope this isn't going to be a big problem for me doing the BD bash games etc.

Joba... the logging in thing happens to me, too... but only in the gallery! Try clearing your Temp internet files or Cache (whichever browser you use) and see if that helps!

I'm going to edit Carmen's first post with instructions and probably copy them over to the FAQ section! Thanks!

Thank you Kimberly. Lookie i got 2 more on there, i am so excited!!! It it the same premise for the blog? Photobucket confuses me but i think i am getting it and if i can get the blog I will be in good shape. I take alot of photos and am starting to do some manlipulations to them. I am also going to learn to make scraps. I have alot of ideas for my blog but don't know how to get the stuff on there or get people to want to put their blinkies or other info about their scrap groups, forums or blogs. Lots of ideas and not enough knowledge!!!! LOL

If you want to add images to your blog posts or sidebar you need to use the HTML code from Photobucket, not the IMG code...

it starts with < a href =

OR... you can use the "insert image" function when doing a new post, copy the DIRECT LINK from photobucket, and paste into the URL box on blogger... click upload then done and your image should be inserted into your post... you can resize from there if you need to, and move the image around in your post to where you want it!
