Here is one way to curve something straight like a ribbon or row of beads etc
Use Polar coordinates in the filters of photoshop or through the distort section of pse. (thanks rhonav for that info) You may need to squish your element a bit sideways to stop it distorting too much the wrong direction. Hope that helps some of you Here's an example I started with my lace which was quite long, about 17 inches I think. then I transformed it by grabbing the handle on the side and dragged it in so that it will keep its shape when curved. Next I go to filters polar coordinates and hit ok the lace is now curved. If you keep the lace at it's original shape it will go into a complete circle, it all depends on the length and position on the page so just play with it till you get something you like. Straight ![]() Curved

Very cool! Later versions of Paint Shop Pro also have a Polar Coordinates option under Effects > Distortion Effects.
