hmmm... Judy, in PSE I can "link" items together by holding CTRL and clicking on each layer I want to link, then clicking the "link" icon (which looks like a chain) - not sure if you have something similar?

I love this challenge! I have used a lot of word art on my pages, but always just by recoloring the text. I'm excited to learn new tricks from you to actually make ART! Mine is pretty simple, but I have many pages I could use it on. Click HERE to see this in the gallery.

Pixelmator does not come with an automated shadow option. To create shadows I have been doing the same steps as you outlined for PSE. It is very time intensive when compared to what can be done in the iWork software. Allergy mom maybe you can help me with the grouping thing. Hi Judy, just came over and noticed this post from you; sorry I didn't catch it sooner. Did Kimberkatt's advice help you? If you have the layers window open, down at the bottom there is a little icon of two circles linked together. Make sure all the layers you want to link are stacked together, then hold down Shift while you choose the layers. Once everything you want is highlighted, just click on the little link icon I described. Hope this helps, though I wouldn't be surprised if you've already figured it out, and more, before I posted this!
