Not really a main dish, but Cheesy Potatoes are my favorite at Easter and I could really eat that and nothing else.... So here it is.... Enjoy. (oh, and note the clustering... hint, hint, run over to my clustering challenge this month!)

Your clustering challenge is great - I saw that the other day! And you did a fantastic job clustering on this card!

Put some clusters on some of my cards (chicken and fish) this time too. Did the Try It Out challenge too. Was lots of fun.

I actually just looked at all your wonderful cards and noticed the clustering you included on some of them. Super job! Someday I'm going to master clustering - for now, I'm not very good at it!

Fantastic work so far, everyone! I was just a teeny bit worried about doing "main dish" with this kit -- it would have been easier to go with "chicken" for the theme. But I've had a lot of requests for main dish recipes -- and I wanted to "challenge" everyone a little bit more with this month's challenge. You've come through with flying colors.

One other item of business: I have personally printed MANY of these recipe cards and love having a nice, hard copy. I received an e-mail message from Walgreen's yesterday that has a coupon code to print 4 x 6 photos for 10 cents each. The only "bad" part is that you have to print 75. So if you have a bunch of these -- or other things you want to print for that price -- click on this link to go to their page. I think this will work for anyone -- I just happened to get it because I'm on their mailing list. The offer expires on March 26.

Well, I am definitely running late this month with my recipe...(Maurine, did you notice??)
Another place to get "cheapy" 4x6 prints is Artscow.com. You sign up, you get something like 1500 prints FREE. Yeah, FREE! Prints include 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, photo books, etc...no joke! I signed up over a year ago, used most of my prints and they still send you "freebies." It might be more 4x6 prints or 8x8 photo books, which are also available in 6x6. I have had several books printed of my grandchildren and have been extremely pleased with all of them. Now the catch with the freebies...you do pay shipping and it comes from Japan BUT, even with that I just got 61 FREE 4x6 prints ( yes, my recipe cards) and paid something under $8. 8x10 prints are $.69 and 4x6 prints are $0.06. No joke! I never ever recommend places but someone introduced me to this site and I have been so pleased. You have to wait a bit longer for the prints but at that price, heck, I can wait. FYI... |
