Carve-A-Pumpkin 2011

Woohoo - it's almost Halloween!! Did you carve your pumpkins already?

How about digi-carving a pumpkin? No cutting your fingers (I'm big on slipping with the knife or saw ), no ooey-gooey mess (eeek, is that slimey stuff inside really necessary???), no having to discard the slowly rotting debris after Halloween? Guess I made it sound as if I don't like pumpkin-carving, LOL - I DO like it, even with all these drawbacks... still, a digi-pumpkin is a lovely thing, too!

I created a pumpkin template for you to use for this challenge - and added some eyes, noses and mouths to the download to get you started - (click pumpkin to download)



Here are the rules:

• Use the pumpkin template provided!
• Carve/Embellish your pumpkin any way you want to, you may use the added facial features but you're welcome to come up with your own (pirate pumpkin anyone?)! If you get carried away and decide to do a whole bunch of them - go ahead, I can't wait to see them!
• Include your pumpkin in a layout or card!
• Post your layout in the Carve-A-Pumpkin gallery and leave a link to your layout in this thread! Deadline: Nov 1st, 11:59 pm EST

What would Halloween be without some treats? So - everyone who does the trick (leaves a link to a completed challenge layout) will get a treat: one of my Halloween Minikits: Bewitched, Eyes in the Dark, Frank'n'Friends, Ghostly or Moonbite - your choice which one (and if you already own the whole collection, just pick another minikit from my store, nobody should go home with an empty treatbag )! Just name the one you want when you leave the link to your layout.
