The challenge & the prize:
Hello all!
Ready for some Christmas fun? This one is for all of you Christmas bugs out there. I want to see your trees! Your real life trees. I loooooove Christmas trees and I want to see how you deck yours out. All I need is a photo of your tree, in a layout, journaling optional by Christmas Eve. What do you get? I went shopping and bought a couple of German, wooden, Christmas ornaments & a matching string of soft Christmas trees (perfect for any cats out there to bat around on the lower branches). And, because it's very traditional in my part of germany, a little marzipan piggy.  *please note: my little trees are not included Official Rules & Info:

Ooooooooo! This looks fun Toiny. My tree is still hiding in the cellar but soon, I will brave the dark scary space to find it, or....... I might just get Elly to get it

I found a moment to scrap, so here is my tree.
I also have 4 4foot white trees to decorate for the grand kids, I add 2 new ornaments a year, to be given to them on their 18th birthday.

Oh man I really have to get the tree out quicker now. I was going to wait until the week before Christmas because of the 2 year old, but what's another week of constant keeping him out?

Sounds like a fun challenge. I thought you meant an outdoor tree and I don't have one, but I can do my indoor one! I love yours!

ohhhhhh Pam, that tree is gorgeous and I love your tradition of giving the kids those decs on their 18th birthday. What a lovely idea. I might start doing that with my new grandkids

A different year tree & the story that goes with it would be awesome! I'm a huge journaling fan and I love to read the stories that go with the LO's. So absolutely, yes please.

I was just taking pictures of my daughter in front of the tree this morning. She was having fun doing ballerina poses. Will have to get one of just the tree now.

 OH! Christmas Tree This layout tells the story of Christmas Trees seventy years ago. The text can be read on my blog: pssequimages.blogspot.com. The tree lights photo I used for the background are contemporary because I have no photos of the trees of my DH's youth, or of the Christmas Tree sales lot in San Bernardino whose story is told here.

Yes it counts! In the rules I included "Your neighbors". I know some people don't have trees or put them up Christmas Eve... and may be too tired to scrap them LOL.
