Jan 2012 Clutter It Challenge

I hope you all had a safe and enjoyable New Year's celebration. May we all have good health and happiness in 2012.

Here is your basic page for this month. This layout is a little different, no "overt" frames. You can use the tags as mats, make them into frames, or use them for journaling - whatever your heart desires.



You may do whatever you like to this basic page, but you must alter it somehow - add a few elements to it, flip it, rotate it, recolor it or do whatever you want. You decide what elements to add to transform my basic template into YOUR own page.

Rules:

1. You can use digital items from any designer... no restrictions! Make sure you credit appropriately in the gallery. If you're new to posting in online galleries, the credit line should say something like, "Kit used is Aquarium Friends by PiggyScraps". Please make sure this information is posted in the gallery.

2. When you're finished, add it to the Clutter It Challenge gallery. Then come back to this forum to post a link to the gallery, so we can all ooh-and-aah over what you've made!

Here is my attempt!! I wasnt sure what the size it should be saved at for the gallery.....so it doesnt look like its a full size lo but it is!!! BTW what IS the size we should size everything for the gallery?? Thanks!

If you save for the gallery so that the final LO is approx 100kb, that's a good rule of thumb. I use Photoshop (and you can do this in Elements as well), and the way I do this is, I duplicate my 12x12", 300 ppi image. Then I flatten it, and resize it to 72 ppi and 500x500 pixels. Then I do a "Save for Web" and the end result is that it's always small yet clear enough to post to galleries.
