I sm so happy.
This morning I had planned to go back to bed after getting the kids off to school I decided to check the internet first and see if it was working better. And guess what..it only took 8 min to upload the zip. So finally I have a zip that includes the PNGs. Here is the link to upload at 4shared. |

Hi gals, I see that lots of you are requesting PNGs. This does take quite a bit of time to do (maybe just me?) but I'm gonna try. If I manage to get it ready, I will come back and post a new thread so you can snag them. I know how it is - I used to only have Storybook and until I got Photoshop also, I could never use templates. Even PNGs I find to be a pain for my Storybook program (the program gets a little overwhelmed and sometimes crashes), but I def get that having only PSD to offer isn't really fair. I'll do my best!

Which templates need pngs? My template at the beginning has PNGs. All my templates have pngs. I can easily do this for you if you want. Also, any of you template makers use PS? there is a super easy way to make pngs. Would anyone be interested in a tut?

Thanks Momto7. I use Scrapbook Max which I can use PNG's thru the backdoor. It is a pain to actually insert them into the software but I sure appreciate the designers who have them available. So a big THANK YOU!

In photoshop I know all you have to do is go to file>save for web and make your change there to png. This is great because it preserves trasparancies and makes it easy to place your pics in the slots open for pics. I personally like the flexibility of .psd templates, but if it isn't .psd it should be .png. .jpg templates are pretty useless in my book.

What a great idea this is sharing templates. And such gorgeous LOs from them! Dinah - thanks for sharing that tip, I never knew you could do it that way. I'm certainly going to give that a try! Even though Photoshop has a big learning curve for a lot of people and it is pricy, it really does offer up the best flexibility.

Stephanie - will def look for the tutorial tomorrow. The way I know to do it is to in turn, hide everything except one layer, save as PNG. Turn that layer off, turn the next one on, save as PNG. Takes forever! Two steps sounds fantastic!!

That's the way I do it, too, Jen - very tedious! 2 clicks... now that's my style!
