Here's my first recipe card for July. I went with peanut butter and something that I make when I don't want to use my oven in hot weather.

If anyone has a tip for how to use a regular cookie sheet to bake rolls and not have the bottoms get so brown (burned!), please tell me. Does parchment paper work? Or silpat baking mats? The bottoms are perfect when I use my glass casserole dish, so that's what I'm using for now.

1. Usually when a GLASS dish/pan calls for the temperature to be ... say... 350°F then when using a DARKER color pan, you would want to cut the temperature by 25°F or even up to 50°F...I would try 325°F first, to see if that helps....
2. Another possibility could be that your oven rack is too close to the bottom burner? If it's already in the CENTER of your over, try raising it up one more level.

Well I managed to get two recipe cards done this month AND a divider card for Honey. But the end of the month is getting close and I have a really busy weekend coming up so this will probably be all of my contribution for the month.



This one hits all three categories and is compliments of the Texas State Fair circa 1989:






I love this month's kit and just wish I had time to do more.

Peanut Butter Waffles is my game this month.
This cute kit goes so well with this recipe. Thanks for helping me get another recipe onto a cute card.
This recipe came from the special diet collection we lived on for several years. Every one in the family put in there 2 cents on how to make each recipe more to their liking. These Waffles are Daddy approved.
