August 12 PS - Day 7-

Oh, I so want to go to the beach - your gorgeous pages make me yearn for another vacation - and I already dread the voting, it will be more than hard this month! A day at the beach would be even more desirable since the heatwave a lot of you have been suffering made it to us now. We're expecting temperatures around 100 ° F this weekend - and the houses here do not have A/C. Looks like we're going to have a lot of iced coffee and slushees, lol

The last elements you will get in this PS were created by Amber aka Designs by Amber Shaw and Christine aka Digilicious Designs:


Instructions: Because yesterday was free reign day and the day before you were only allowed to add three things and because it's the last day and I think it deserves a special challenge: Add 10 more "things" to your layout, including (but not limited to) the following: all 4 elements of today and 1 more (piece of) paper (the other 5 elements/papers are your choice, so you will hopefully still like me, lol). Remember you can resize or hide things so they only peek out a little. I will love you even more if you will mention the 10 things you added when posting your layout here in this thread, so I don't have to go back and forth to find out by myself, lol!

If you have questions regarding the instructions, feel free to post them in this thread.
Upload your layout to the Progressive Scrap Gallery, then come back here and post the link to your layout so I can include you in the poll!

You have until Sunday night to complete your layout, upload it to the gallery and leave a link here in this thread. I will post the poll on Monday afternoon my time (about 10 am EST). The poll will stay open for two days - and I would love to see you all vote!!

I did post a sign-up thread for the QP exchange, with all the info and deadlines for that - since your page is already done it's really easy to participate .

My Day 7-Building Sandcastles

I added the 5 requested elements plus-2 sprigs of grass; 1 white flower; 1 yellow flower and 1 shell with pearl. I also used the Sand Alpha provided to us by Min for my title along with the font Sand.

Finished mine.

I added 1 extra star, 1 more flat shell and 3 ribbon flowers. The brown paper was cut into a splotch placed at the bottom. I recolored the seahorse, too. Thanks for all this!

Well, you certainly did "throw it at us" on this last day!!! No problems at all.

Added all 4 elements from Download - 2 shells by large swirl at top right; Seahorse bottom left; and hybiscus at top left.
Added paper behind the frame
Added tiny starfish behind seahorse
Added larger gold seashell behind oyster/pearl bottom left
Added small leaf cluster in right corner
Added exta swirl and yellow flower in lower left corner

That's didn't hurt too bad. LOL I added the 4 elements from today, 3 sprigs of grass, a flower, ribbon, and the double button element on a string(you'll find the flower,ribbon and buttons in a cluster top right)

This was certainly fun! Thank you so much. Today I added the sand paper in the coner, the seahorse, a yellow orchad, 3 small shells, a clam shell, 2 more rick rack edges to my papers, and the spiky plant to make for 10 additions to my page. Much easier than I thought it would be. LOL The photo is of my nephews first visit to the Oregon Coast. Lots of fun memories here.

Here is mine.The 10 things I added were the 4 for today plus 1-each,sand,starfish,grass,long green stem.and wave. I added the blue paper.

Final layout -- I added the paper by Booland Designs, 2 more of today's flowers, and 3 flowers from day 6.

When you said 10 things I didn't know how I would fit everything on, but I did! I added 3 hibiscus, seahorse, and both shells from Day 7. I used a photo mask with the beige paper. I also used the sand frame from Day 2 and 2 beach grass. Here's my Gallery Link. Thanks for the challenge Min, lots of fun as usual!

Thanks so much for the downloads and the fun challenge! I used all from today's download, and added another of each of these: starfish, 2 plants, bow, flower from today's bunch, and another piece of the blue paper. Here's mine

Today I added the 4 required plus a paper shape under the umbrella. I also added 3 more shells, another sand and starfish. Part of the title uses the sand alpha by CGD. Thanks for a fun challenge. I enjoyed playing along.

Thanks, Min. This was fun and a great kit. For day 7 I used all four elements from day 7. Added wavy paper at bottom plus 2 more sands, a starfish and fan shell. Also added a starfish to the bottom left cornor of the frame.

1. Title made from blue paper from day 1 with a blending mode (which changed color) and a bevel added
2. Seahorse on swirl on right side of layout
