Toiny, thank you. I think that makes it about clear as mud.
So a solid isn't really a one color at all. So to clarify a solid might be a cloud rendered blue/dk blue but not a blue and green? A blue and green would be a patterned paper? Or is it only a patterned paper that has a repeating pattern? A background with stars or planets would be a patterned paper? . Thanks again for the patience.

haha..thanks Danielle, I wasn't sure if I was going to enter until today when my cousin was urging me to give it a shot...she thinks I am the best..lol Little does she know how many truly gifted designers there are out there. She just made her first layout several weeks ago so to her, I'm the bomb! But hey, can't hurt to give it a whirl and I am sure it will bring out the best in all of us!

I have finished up the minimum. I'm going to let to brew for a while while I work on other things I have neglected today
Usually in contests I like to make a bit more and pick the best .... but PS is acting weird. It won't let me save as png unless I go through save for web. I also cannot open png files (I could first thing this morning, but after a re-boot everything is screwy ... looks like a re-install for me. |

I believe I will make a separate post about it, so that other's with the same questions/concerns will be able to find it easier Give me a bit.... and, shhhh... don't tell the Scavenger Hunt People that I'm helping here instead of setting up their game!

Is there a forum thread where we are supposed to post the previews also or just in the gallery?

I can't believe that "solid" is the most questioned component here, but I have one paper I put in the solid category that is 2 colors that fade into each other - everything else is plain, just some texture and grunged edges.

Well, I'm lazy and not starting a new thread! lol My internet just suddenly decided that it didn't need to load the pages faster than 10min at a time
So, seeing as this FINALLY loaded for me, I'm posting here! Let me know if you have questions! ![]() Examples of Obvious Solids: (taken from Blueberry Pickin' by Aimee Harrison) ![]() Example of Multi-Colored Solids: (taken from Under A Palm Tree by Lara's Digi World) ![]() Example of Embossed Solid: (taken from Bunnytales Paper Pack by Digilicious Designs) ![]() Example of a deceiving solid, texture is too over-powering to be considered a solid: (taken from A Day At The Beach Addon by JulieC Designs): ![]() Example of not-quite-sure-but-leaning-towards solid lol: (taken from Delightful Summer Addon by Designs by Brigit) ![]() Example of Obvious Pattern: (taken from Blueberry Pickin by Aimee Harrison)

So, the theme has to be Moonrise? We just can't create something in those color's?

OH Wow! Kim, that is crazy. There is no way I would see those as being "solid" lol, especially the first one. Okay, Thank you so much for the examples. I think that I understand. Hopefully.

Hey Nancy, there might be a comment on this already but real quick I was going to say that you do want your papers and elements that people will download to be 300 dpi. The 72 is for your preview before you upload it. Someone here can tell you how to change the resolution. If no one has by the time you are ready to upload, you can pm me. I have PS but have used PSE too. It is basically the same if I remember correctly.
