Round 1:
Welcome to the first round of competition! Get your scrapping hats on and get ready to work!
Challenge: You will be PM'd a coupon to purchase Black Holes by Nibbles Skribbles. This kit is playful and fun, filled with child-like elements. This will pose a challenge to those of you without kids, but that is always part of the challenge when you are on a CT! Making a kit shine even if it's not your forte! And it works well with the Next Designer Contest - the theme over there is the moon, and outer space is where the moon lives! Anyways...  I am requesting that you create ONE beautiful layout using this kit. Your job is to show off the kit in the best way you can. This week I am not adding in any extra requirements, so you have free reign to your layouts! Remember you may NOT use a template for your layout, we want to see what you can do on your own. Post your completed layout in the Next Layout Artist Week 1 Gallery and link it to the Nibbles Skribbles gallery. You MUST properly credit everything you use. This includes linking to where customers can find the product in the store at theStudio. You will be eliminated if you do not properly credit your layouts. This is an elimination contest, but all eliminated contestants will be given a second chance, so be sure to check back in next week to see how to continue playing along all month! Layouts are due September 5 at 24:00 Studio Time (Eastern Time) Late layouts will not be counted. Feel free to reply here with any questions, comments or chatter throughout the week! Manda, this kit is WAY cute and I've had my eye on it since it hit the store! Now I have an excuse to play with it, woohooo!! Off to search my photo stash....

very adorable kit!! question though...is there a reason my order is "PENDING" waiting for payment authorization???? it won't let me download til that is fixed

Please post here if you're having the issue with your order number. I have NO clue why it decided to do this today.
I don't know all of your 'real' names, so I can't fix them without that....

Manda, I just went in and released about 12-13 of them, seems all of them are "pending" with the coupon.... even my own! lol I think we need to let T know that this is happening so she can hash it out with Diego
 <-- oh, you've already done that! lolI only released the orders with just Black Holes & the coupon code for a $0.00 amount, I'll check periodically throughout the day for more
