Recipe Card Challenge ~ September 2012

The 300ppi is print quality and is what you e-mail to her. The 72ppi is the resized one you upload. I use PSP and it is a one click thing. Someone else may be able to tell you how in PSE. This is one fun challenge. We always get lots of wonderful recipes and make lots of good friends. Welcome.

When you need foot relief, it is the best thing in the world when you get it. When your feet hurt, you hurt all over because it affects your whole body. I am more grateful to my podiatrist than I am my cardiologist, lol! I hope it goes very, very well for you tomorrow, Maurine, and that you have a speedy recovery! Hugs!

OK, so I have always uploaded my layouts to the galleries at 300psi. Just thought I was suppose to. They seem to look ok. Is this wrong? Ohhhh, I wish I were more savvy with this stuff!!!

Looks like potatoes are a comfort food! Lots of the recipes here seem to have them. Mine is another one! Thanks, Maurine, for hosting and making this kit. And hope someone brings you comfort food for post-surgery.

I don't know where you live, I am in Ohio, but wish I could bring over some homemade soup! Guess I will have to send the recipe instead!

Thought I would check in real quick. Surgery went great. The original plan was to have my left foot done to fix a very painful Morton's neuroma plus a bunion. I made the decision Thursday to have a neuroma in my right foot done at the same time. Dr. said both neuromas were bigger/worse than expected; I should be much better when I have healed. Felt great yesterday; quite dizzy and tired today. Tomorrow will be a great day! Thanks for all your kindness. And keep those cards coming! I feel better just reading the recipes!

I just love this month's kit! Thanks so much for another super kit and challenge, Maurine. I certainly hope you're feeling better soon. I do hope you have some local angels bringing YOU some comfort food, too!

Got two cards done for this month.
First up is a yummy fall soup, Country Carrot Soup. My mom found this for me one year when my carrots grew like crazy and I didn't know what else to do. It is now one of my family's favorites.

Then I have a Cornbread recipe. I got this online at allrecipes.com. It is the best cornbread I've had in a long time.

I change my 12x12 layouts to 72 dpi, but for the recipe cards I don't and just upload at 300 dpi and don't seem to have an issue. Just my experience.
