Seriously, Molly is right! This years contest has really floored all of us!! You guys rocked this first challenge and it was SO hard to choose! I stewed for 2 days trying to make a decision, gave myself a headache and everything! I cannot believe the talent we have here this year, you all are amazing! I hate this part of the contest!

I don't want to see my friends eliminated, but, alas, it must be so..... Congratulations to all those who are moving on to Round 2! And congrats to ALL of you for having the confidence in yourselves to even enter a contest like this! Keep up the fantastic work all!

Hey all - Did you see the Layout Artist Comp Round 2 yet? Those ladies competing will be using YOUR mini kits to complete the challenge!!

So keep an eye on this contest, too!! Lots of exposure to your designs!

Just came home from work - all I could think about the whole day was if I made it to round two or not

I know it can be a difficult thing to do.. and waiting for the list to come out is just nerve-wracking!! Another congrats to those moving on! Congratulations everyone! I hope I will be able to finish Round 2 in time. I was in pain last night, went to the ER, and am now typing this from my hospital bed. I could be here for a couple of days.

I can honestly say that this was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. We had a set amount of kits we could vote for and I know that we went through each kit - previews, quality, element flow, colors - the whole 9 yards! Everyone who made a submission should be proud - it took great courage, time and dedication to do what you did. Everyone here is very proud of YOU, no matter the out come. So congrats to everyone - you have done so well!

I didn't play to make it to win the round, to be honest, I was a bit bored. But still, people never like to loose something.
CONGRATS TO THE ONES WHO MADE IT!!!!

Perhaps a stupid question, but do you tell the people that didn't make it why not? I am always looking out to learn more about digiscrapping, so I'm curious... What things could have been better?
