Adobe Photoshop CS2 for Dummies ~ Yes!
This is a great book, and I haven't even begun to plumb its sweet, informative depths. I got it for my birthday, and I've been too busy since then to really study it.

did you find some good explanations in this book?.
i could get it here in german. up to now i have no clue with cs2 is it worth to buy???

I don't have this particular Dummies book, but to me they all seem the perfect way to get started. They're simple and fun and well worth the money.

i only have seen them in the bookshops and laughed about the titles, so if you know some of them, maybe i should try

Yes
this is a good book for beginners and advanced users alike.
It starts with the basics, then progresses to the how-tos for special effects. So,yes, I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to work with PSCS2. Cheers
