Hi all, are your ready for another PS?

We have a gorgeous kit to play with (again, lol) - theStudio's September Mega "Old School":



You don't have to run and dig for your school pics - although you're more than welcome to, lol - as usual I will choose elements, papers and instructions in a way that will allow a "generic" layout.


Here's a look at the rules:

This progressive scrap will go on for eight days. For the first seven days I will give you a download link with two or three pieces you are required to use according to this day's instructions. You have two days (Saturday and Sunday) to complete the last step (or catch up) and upload your finished layout.

The first download is free, you will get the others via pm after completion of the day before. You can join in until Wednesday, but you have to complete the days to get the next download - and your last layout should be done and posted by Sunday night!

You can recolor and/or crop the pieces or change their opacity but you have to use them as specified in each day's instructions and once placed are not allowed to move them. Make sure you save your layout in a .psd format so you are able to place new pieces below others if you should wish to do so.

On Monday night I will post a poll to choose the winner who gets this month's Mega for free! There's also a participation prize for all of you who finish their layouts - you will get a coupon for 1 $ off this Mega.

I will host a QP exchange for those of you who'd like to gather a great matching QP album - if you plan to participate, please make sure you create your layout at 12 x 12 in, 300 dpi!

We'll start the week off with 5 awesome papers, created by Amber aka Designs by Amber Shaw, Janet aka JanetB Designs, Linda aka Linda Cumberland Designs, Jewel aka Mad Genius Designs and Danielle aka The Urban Fairy: (click image to download)



Instructions: Use all 5 papers to create the background for your layout, but every paper only one time! (stack them, cut them up, clip them to shapes, recolor if needed...)

If you have questions regarding the instructions, feel free to post them in this thread.

Upload your layout to the Progressive Scrap Gallery, then come back here and post the link to your layout so I can pm you onTuesday with the download link for Day 2!

So many beautiful pages here already.... great going, gals.

Unfortunately, I had a major computer crash about 2 weeks ago and am still in the midst of trying to recover files, re-load software, etc. Yep... ended up having to wipe the HD and start over from scratch. Thank heavens for my EHD as it had many of my files/kits. But, didn't have the last 2 weeks before the crash. Major headache. So, I will have to sit out all the fun that is going on here at the Studio during the Birthday Bash. Hope to be back to speed in October so I can just relax and join the challenges. Have fun with one as it looks like it will be a fantastic progressive.

So sorry to hear that BrightEyes - I'm glad you had your EHD I know when my crashed some time ago - I didn't have much at all my EHD - so I'm glad yours was up to date
