I'm still not sure what my theme will be ... I've started playing around with the patterns in Illustrator to see what I can come up with ... I think I'll go have glass of wine ...

I think I'm going to go watch Scandal. It was an awesome premier series last fall and just started up again this past week! Have to figure something out to get busy first thing in the morning!

have new episodes of scandal started?? grrr ... i missed it if so! in fact, i had one taped, but deleted it cause i thought it was old. **kicking**

YES!!!! this week....that was the first one! I DVR'd it! Now to watch it. That and Homeland were my favorite new shows of last year! Can't wait for Homeland to start back up!

What about Black and White? can we add those colors, or would that be our one color (choosing between one or the other?)

Wow this is going to be tough! I think I can swing the elements but I have never made a paper without a cu overlay, eek! I guess I'm going to have to reset my PS to standard textures and brushes. This should be interesting!

You must include the tools listed in your description.

^^^ Does this mean we need to have a list of our eles and papers
describing how we made each of them?

Like a list on notepad included in the download?

get to know your scanner -- there are LOTS of cool things that create fabulous texture digitally

I don't have a scanner at the moment but I do have a camera I hope I can make that work along with brushes, hmmm.... stressin here! Thank you for the scanner idea, my hubby got mad at our printer scanner and it was kicked to the curb, lol.

As far as the palette, must we use all of the colors or may we select the ones we want to use and then add our additional one color to that?

ROFL! You guys crack me up! I took some notes & I'll try to answer the ones that are still left unanswered and/or need some clarification. Please bug me if it's still not clear:

answer: You may take photo's or scans and use those as extractions or textures. Be sure that the item you photograph or scan is allowed for commercial use.

answer: You may use a standalone program such as ArtRage. You may not use a plugin such as FilterForge. Yes, I know FilterForge can be used as a standalone, but it is primarily a plugin.

answer: You may use black or white as your additional, you may not use both as freebies.

answer: You may focus on only a few of the colors in the palette, you do not have to use them all.

answer: You must have your own additional color.

answer: You may use lighter & darker variations of the palette colors

Note: we will be looking very closely at the color integrity of your recolored items. I want to see you use the CU items. I want to see how well you can recolor and match it to the palette. Getting too creative here could wind up hurting you in the end.

So we donīt have to? I am getting the preview ready, so I need to be sure... I just the colors the way they where so I didnīt feel any need to add any colors
