Sep12 PS - QP Exchange

This is the thread to sign up for a quickpage exchange. If you sign up here in this thread I will know to expect your QP and can get back to you if it should disappear on the way to my inbox.

Here are the rules, please read carefully!

If you want to participate, do the following:

Take your day 7 layout - you may change it, add or take away elements if you want to-, cut a hole in it (digitally, LOL) where the picture(s) is supposed to go. Here's Toiny's tutorial along with a free goodie to help you do this: Knockout Style for Quickpages/BragBooks/Albums

Your QP doesn't need to be the exact day 7 layout, if you want to remove or add elements that's okay, but only for the QP exchange, not for your day 7 poll entry!!!!

Save this layout as .png and mail it to me - mailofmin(at)gmail(dot)com - until Tuesday, September, 18th midnight EST.

Important: For this QP exchange the layout you send me needs to be 12 x 12 in in size at 300 dpi resolution! (The file size can be around 20 MB.)


I will collect all the pages, zip them up and send you the download links so you will end up with an album of beautiful coordinated pages.

Ugg I was also to go, zipped and all but its a 8x8 because one of the elements (ribbon) we had to use was just too tiny for a 12x12 page......poop poop poop. I will try to re make one if I have time this weekend.

Just a suggestion, but you could always drop your 8x8 onto a 12x12 paper. I participated in a Speed Scrap one time, that had us resize our layout on the last step and add a bg paper to it!

Sending the 12 x 12 quick page version now. I have been converting my 8x8 to 12x12 for a while now. This is done by opening a 12x12 and slide the entire LO over to it. Though I do tend to slide things around to make it look more balanced.

Posted the QP in the PS Gallery since it changes a bit when convert it.

OMG! That would so annoy me! I always worry every time I download something! I hope you get it resolved quickly. I still haven't gotten my QP to you anyway. Our router broke and that might be the reason I can't send thru email. Not getting one til tomorrow I think.
