I want to play this month, but have a major surgery (thankfully not extremely invasive because of micro-surgery) on Monday but will be home on Tuesday. If I am feeling up to it, I will join in Tuesday or Wednesday.

Not through the chat room. the PS has it's own thread. Day 1 you are to download the items and follow the instructions, at your leasure. After that, each day you participate you are given more items and more instructions. 7 days total. You are able to make up days too.

You should check out some of the past PS threads and gallery to get an idea. Always unknown fun.

Oh...at the end, you vote for your favorite layout...and another layout is drawn randomly for winning the FULL mega kit.

Okay..........so once you have placed something on the page and posted it in the gallery you can't move it around or change the blend mode etc. at a later date.........correct?

Yes, that is correct. This is a really fun challenge so I hope you join us this month. Also, at the end we can send our completed layout (as a quick page) to Min and she zips them up and sends all of them to everybody who submits a qp. So you get a bunch of co-ordinating quick pages! Don't worry, she has lots of instructions every step of the way!

Hi Robyn - welcome to the Studio

Yes and no - you are not allowed to move anything once your layout has been posted, but you may still change the blend mode or even recolor.

Come and join us on Sunday, give the PS a try, it's a lot of fun and you can always ask if something is not clear

No worries, Robyn, we're all over the world - and since it's not a "chat challenge" everybody can work at their own pace and schedule. There are always some falling back and catching up or starting late.
I'm in Europe and I usually post the new steps my afternoon, so yes, I think it will be Monday for you. But there's an extra day added at the end to finish, so you should be fine

Ohhhh, Robyn!! You MUST join this! Its so much fun! I love seeing everyones ideas with what Min gives us. Everyone's layouts are so different! And I love the fact that its so laid back. If you miss a day, no sweat, you just catch up the next day. BUT you have to do each day and post your results before you get the next day's pieces IM'd to you. I was a bit confused the first time, but everyone was so helpful!!

Robyn, it's so much fun and you learn a lot as you go.

When I first started doing progressive scraps I hated my layouts and redid them right after to "save" them. After a few I learned how to use elements better and even learned how to actually do clusters. Now I seldom change anything and love the page when I'm done. They challenge you and honestly for me they make me a better scrapper. Definitely give it a try...it's also addictive!

progressives are fun - im never all that happy with my page but still love doing them. im always amazed as how well osme scrappers do on them as if they know what is ocming.

will try this month - my foster dog is due to give birth in the next week or so ( s hes about 8 weeks pregnat now) adn i have never whelped puppies before.
