I'm really impressed by the recipes so far. I'll have to find something better to share than using my long-haired cat as a dust-mop, and letting my dogs do all the dishes with their tongues.
LOL...I almost choked laughing on this one!

I think the theme and the cards for this month will make the neatest gift for a new bride [or older one, too]. I am going to print them and either put them in a 4x6 photo book [like they sell for two dollars at Walmart] or put them in plastic sleeves and hook them all together with a jump ring. That’s the explanation for my “recipe” card for this month. I made a cover page to go with all the great recipes that are being submitted. Can’t wait to get everything and put it all together.

I made this by the ton when my kids were small. You can use regular food coloring if you want pale colors, but cake decorator's paste makes intense color with a small amount of paste; i.e. it's more expensive, but goes a long way.
You can store it in any container, but when I taught preschool, each child stored his in his own decorated yogurt cup with lid. That kept the spread of germs, via play dough, down to a minimum. Even the two-year-olds could find their own cups on the shelf and get out their personal dough whenever they wanted.
You also can add flavoring extracts as the dough starts to thicken, but keep in mind that really young ones have a hard enough time not eating it without nice smells. Not to mention me.

Oh heck, I forgot to say that the little pot is made with recipe kit papers, and a template from Studio Linda Reese - "Cooking Templates".

You know what would make great containers with tight fitting lids?
Store bought cake frosting. Just peel off the paper, peel off all the foil lining and the kids can even decorate it.
I use them a lot for leftovers for my fur baby! And you can use them over and over. They clean nicely in the dish washer....top shelf.

No cleaning recipes for me, so how about some cookies for all that hard work?

I created another card listing tips/solutions that I have used over the years.

I can see I will have to print out ALL of these wonderful recipes and make a small booklet. Wouldn't it make a wonderful gift for a new bride?
