Default Image Organizer

Hello!

I am looking for a good program to organize all my digi files. I am up to 20+Gb of files now and to find what I am looking for is getting harder. I would like to be able to do a search by author, or theme etc. I have tried ACDsee but it seems to freeze up on me quite a bit now that I have so many files.

I would like to know what others are using before I spend money on a program that won't do what I need it to.

Thanks!!

P.S. I am a Windows XP user

I use the organizer from Photoshop elements are am quite satisfied with it, although I don't use it for scrapping supplies. It works well for photos for me.

If your 'puter is freezing up, might some more memory help? I'm still using XP but have 2 GB of RAM. Freezeups are almost a thing of the past!

I use the organizer from Elements too for my photos but am looking for something a little more for my scrapping stuff.

I have 1.5G of RAM I think I just need to stop running so many programs at one I plan on upgrading in the future but have other things I want to get first

Do you use anything for your scrapping supplies
