Default March Colour Challenge

Thank you, Booland Designs! This was my very first challenge -- newbie here -- and I had a great time playing with your product. I did a 2-page LO using your kit offered.

Hee hee all fixed!! enjoy!!

Woops!!! I just went to do a layout with my kit and discovered that I had the resolution/sizing wrong on the papers. How awful. So I have removed the links for the papers until I get the fixed versions up at 4 shared. Sorry Everybody!! The papers will still work if you already have them, just paste them onto a 12in X12in 300ppi document and voila. But for those yet to download I have fixed them and am updating them now.
My appologies again!!

Okay, I have the same question for the Color Challenge as I had for the Freestyle Challenge. When Boo says we can use "any kit," does is need to be a SAS kit or from ANY designer?

Default March CC

Okay, I tried my hand at CC Kit #2, and here is the link to the gallery, from there you can link to the download.

http://www.stoneaccentsstudio.com/ga...9875&nocache=1[IMG]

Still can't figure out how to place the image here. I click the little world, and it asks for a url, and I don't know exactly where to get that. Any suggestions? I tried to copy my preview, but it didn't take.

Landorasue, You have to use either her free kit that is listed on the first page or any of the free kits that are listed in this section. You will have varied choices because so many designers have uploaded beautiful kits to share. If you so desire to make a kit in her color scheme, then you can upload that also for other challenge participants to share. This will be my first time submitting a layout. If you have any other questions, I or anyone else here will be more than glad to assist. So nice to meet you.

I find that i have to have the picture hosted somewhere like photobucket and then copy the dirrect link there, come back here and when the world thingy asks for a url just paste it instead of the "http://". Hope this helps you!!
Hugs

Just an apology to you all for the file size of my papers. I thought I had them 12 inch but they were 12cm, grr, I was so mad when I realised it and thought how frustrating it would be to get a kit and find out the size was all wrong, so I apologise enormously to you all and the good news is, It's all fixed now.
Thought I better mention it here in case anyone missed it in the links post of mine!
Oh and the password is sasattack in case you may need it!!

Hi hun, in answer to your question, of course, we'd love for you to use a SAS Designer Kit and I even provide a kit for you to use if you wish. You can also use any of the challenge kits entered in this months challenge. You may ALSO use ANY Designer kit of your own choice as long as you give the full credits to that Designer when uploading your lo to the Gallery.

So, if you use items from several Designers, you must credit ALL of them.

Hope this helps. Have fun
Hugs

Hi Sweetie,
To upload an image in the forum, you must first have stored that image on an image hosting site such as photobucket (its free to sign up for it). It will give you choices of urls. The correct url to use when uploading to a gallery is the Direct Link url. Just copy and paste it into your box when you've clicked on the little world and hey presto, theres your image. Just be sure that the image is sized correctly (same size as in the Galleries for here, other forums may vary)

Just google 'photobucket' to find the correct place to sign up

Hope this helps.
Hugs
Boo x

Default Amazing ....

WOWsers,
What a fantastic start we're having to this months challenge. You girls ROCK big time. I've just spent a wonderful couple of hours going through the gallery and checking out all your goodies. I can't believe how great your kits are and your lo's are stunning. Fantast ladies. I'm so proud of you all and your wonderful contributions. You've all put the BIGGEST smile on my face today.

I see you fantastic ladies already answered those questions for me. Thank you so much for that.

I've sent out all your gifties. If I missed you, pm me and I'll get it out asap. I know someone emailed me about a PB and I can't find the email so if it was YOU, please pm me and let me know, thanks so much everyone.

There is still LOTS of time to take part in this fun challenge so if you havn't already or your friends havn't then please have a go. There are lots of wonderful goodies for you to choose from or even make your own. I promise, its fun and addictive once you get going. Just one thing, I cannot be held responsible if your 'Other Half' accuses you of neglegance, lol.

Hugs
Boo x

Default Kit Image

So many new things to learn -- so little time. Okay, I'm experimenting with my url link for the image to my March CC kit. Here goes!!

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/g...PreviewWEB.jpg

Let's see what happens!

I see the link, but not the picture. I did something wrong. Oh well, I'll try again later.

My Irish blood is orange (although I do have a green "kiss me I'm Irish" shirt!), so I really don't have a ton of St. Patrick's Day pictures, save for when my Green-Irish best friend visits from Missouri at the right time of year! So, remaining in the holiday spirit, I used the colors for a different holiday!

The warm orange and brown with a few green evergreen sprigs makes a nice Christmas layout!

Here's my "Guess Who's Coming To Christmas Eve Dinner"
