Picasso Challenge for April

Come on girls ,let's paint something. We can be like a Picasso.

Do not afraid to use tools such us:an oil brush, a chalk,a pastel,a colored pencil, a marker etc.

Every month I will ask you to add some painted elements to your pages. In my gallery you will find some example of what I want you to do in April.

Rules:
1. you can use any digital item from any designer... no restrictions!
2. You have to paint by yourself at least one flower . You can of course create and add more painted elements.
3.Post it in the Picasso Challenge Gallery and post your link back here, so we can all leave you some love!

I am not sure if this is what you wanted? If not I will try again. I used the paint brush toot that had the basic flower shape. Then I colored the parts of it and used a splatter paint effect on it. I then did an outer glow.

I did a second layout because I liked this challenge so much! I made the tulip flowers from scratch. I have never done that before and am pretty happy with how they turned out. I also made the background paper and butterflies too! This was a cutesy layout and I had so much fun doing something different.

When you say we can use Do not afraid to use tools such us:an oil brush, a chalk,a pastel,a colored pencil, a marker etc are you saying it must be a digital graphics program tool??? Are you including actual physical pencils, paints or markers then scan the doodles to make them digital ????

Yes :-) in Paint Shop Pro there are digital tools such as :an oil brush, a chalk,a pastel,a colored pencil, a marker .I want you to use them to create a flower.
I do not know if in other graphics programs those tools are the same or different names, but I hope every graphic program have such tools. You can use the Paintbrush but with a round shape and draw freehand to create your own flower.
We do not use the scanned doodles.

Thanks for the fun challenge! It was something new for me to try

I used the chalk tool in PSP and drew on the background paper to make it look like chalk drawings on concrete.

Here's mine: Bonnet Basset

I truely appreciate this challenge as it reminds me that I can't do everything ... Being a left handed pencil artist it is a touch crazy making to try and draw with a right handed track ball mouse and PhotoShop brush.

I had no idea how easy it would be to create flowers...I put it off until I realized my time was almost up. Yea! I made it before April 17!!

I used the crayon brush to create my flowers. Texas gals will recognize the bluebonnets, I hope I'm sure my grandmother had bluebonnets in her east Texas garden. The other flowers were figments of my imagination.

Wow, this was difficult, I have never drawn anything in Photoshop elements and I had to figure it out all by myself. And then I had to draw the flower with a right-handed mouse, while I am lefthanded.
So I think I did quite well, considering.......

Ta-da! I got mine done. I went with the airbrush option. It's my favorite.
I figure that it is pretty impressionistic though not quite cubism.
