PSE5 Actions & Brushes Tut's needed!

Hello!

I can't remember if I posted this question or not, so I'm posting again, sorry!

I really want to learn how to install/use Actions and brushes in PSE5... I have some actions that I want to use, I just don't know how! All the tut's I've seen are for CS2/3... the installing part I think I've got, but I don't see them showing up in the program?? (I really don't know where to look!)

I know there has to be an experienced PSE5 user here that can help me a teeny, tiny bit?!? PLEASE?!?! :p

I'm using the german version of PSE5
but whatever i tried, i can't get actions to work in the program,
they don't appear anywhere
the same problem with styles

but brushes are easy to install
open the windows explorer
C:\Programme\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 5.0\Presets\Brushes
just put it in there and you can use them in PSE

Yes, Scrapper's Guide is an excellent resource for training for any Photoshop version!! Linda, the owner creates the best training videos I have ever used! If you join (there is a membership fee) you get free videos and a free kit every month.

Hello Everyone! Not sure if you are still looking for PSE Actions.....

I'm not a designer, so I don't think I will be able to use the free action you have on your blog now, but I will definitely use the INSTRUCTIONS! :p

I have tried installing some actions, but I'm just not seeing them in the program... hopefully, once I check out your instructions, I can get them to work!! I use PSE5 right now, but am planning on upgrading to PSE6 sometime soon! I will be bookmarking your site! Thanks again!

Don't know a lot about actions myself but www.PanosFx.com has free actions for PSE. According to him, actions created for PS don't work in PSE correctly as they have left out certain things in PSE. He does tell you exactly HOW TO FIND YOUR ACTIONS and where to install them to. LOL! His actions are really great as they stop after each step and tell you what he's going to do next or how you can adjust the current step to suit yourself. I love his PSE actions. He has photo bends, etc. His blog has a special forum section devoted to his PSE actions and question threads. He's very good about answering you right away, too. He has a lot of freebies and also some more advanced that he sells.

CoffeShop makes free actions and they are yummy!
