Hope I did this right! My first challenge, first time posting to a gallery (and first time playing with drop shadows), among other things! I just love the exuberance of little children jumping on a trampoline!

BTW, the original layout was rectangular, so when I uploaded, it got "cropped" up top -- in real life its not unbalanced like it looks! (Like I said -- my first time posting to a gallery -- is there something to do with rectangular layouts to avoid this? Or do you just post only square layouts?????)

If you look at your LO in the gallery, you'll notice the dimensions are 600 x 481. This refers to the ppi (pixels per inch). I believe the max size for this site is 600 so, rather than forcing your image to fit (which would distort it), it truncated it.

You can keep you original files at the size you want but before uploading to galleries you'll want to resize them to fit the max limits. If you have an 8x11 sized LO, this would be 2400x3300 ppi if at 300ppi resolution and 576x792 at 72ppi resolution. You would have to reduce the resolution further to bring the size down. How you do it is dependent upon your sofware.

Additionally, you should note that the max amounts do differ from site to site and some have file size limitations of 125kb or less (you LO is 280kb). What I do is make my upload images 500x500 ppi and I bump the resolution down until I have a file 125kb or less. I've had no problems (yet) at any site with these specifications.
