Talking hello from HOT Missouri
I'm Karen, I'm pretty new to digiscrapping, but I'm finding it pretty fun. I'll be 50 this year and don't mind it a bit. Married 3 1/2 years to my best friend and honey. Between us we have 7 children (only one left at home) and 9 grandkids.

I love to knit, and quilt, sew... and now this! There simply isn't enough time in the day

Currently I'm trying to figure out how to put a layout in my album, sometimes I feel so dense I think I uploaded our wedding pic into the wrong place. I hope ya'll are patient with newbies!!!

First let me say, Welcome to SAS! I know what you mean when you say "and now this", LOL, I was a crafter of many kinds myself, especially loved sewing but now... well, let's say that my interests have changed!

With regards to the signatures - what you're seeing above aren't so much jazzed up signatures (you can see their names/signatures appear normal), they are things called 'blinkies'. These are ways of advertising digital scrapbooking designers and stores.

For instance,
  • mamrotka above, is a designer. She has a blinkie advertising her designs and another one advertising Stone Accent Studios (SAS) because that is where she sells her designs.
  • sharpli above, is on the Creative Team (CT) here at SAS so her SAS blinkie is a bit different from the one that mamrotka has. I'm not sure about her other blinkie, she may be on the CT at mootwodesigns as well, or she might just be a fan of their stuff.

Some people do create small images for their signatures though and you are certainly welcome to do that! Get creative anyway you can, I say! You may notice that I have an image for my signature.
