SAS’s Next SAS-y Lady Contest

Join us for SAS’s Next SAS-y Lady Contest. Starting on Monday, September 1st SAS will have a 4-week long Designer Contest where the contestants will design a kit around a specific theme or color palette. All of the kits that are submitted will be available to SAS members for download.

The first week of the contest will have a very special theme so we are giving the designers a few extra days to come up with their creations. This week the theme will be posted in this thread by 6 p.m. on Monday the 1st and the contestants will have the previews of their kits in the Designer Contest gallery by 6 p.m Monday the 8th. The kits will be available for download as soon as they are previewed in the gallery and the voting forum will open Monday the 8th at 6 p.m.

For weeks 2, 3 and 4 the theme/palette will be posted on Thursdays by 6 p.m., entries are due by the following Monday at 6 p.m. Voting starts that Monday at 6 p.m. and closes on Thursdays at noon.

All SAS members may download the kits and vote for their favorites. With a contest like this it can be difficult to choose just one “favorite” so members may vote ONCE for as many kits at they want but we encourage you to limit your choices to 3 or 4. Just to be clear you may vote ONCE but you may vote for as many entries as you want. The top 75% of contestants will move on the next round. The top three winners in the final round will become the next SAS-y Ladies.

Week 3 – September 18th to September 25th
Week 4 - September 25th to October 2nd
Next SAS-y Ladies Announced - October 2nd 3 p.m.

Theme/Palette Posted – Week 1- Monday 1st, 6 p.m., Weeks 2, 3 & 4- Thursdays, 6 p.m.
Entries Due - Mondays 6 p.m.
Voting Starts - Mondays 6 p.m.
Voting Ends – Thursdays at noon
Winners Announced - Thursdays 3 p.m.

Entires Due 6 p.m.
Week 1 – 8th
Week 2- 15th
Week 3- 22nd
Week 4 – 29th

I am so busy making my kit but popped in for a rest LOL. I too can't wait to see what the other contestants come up with. Such an exciting time here at SAS!! Good Luck everybody!!
