Default Round 3 Question

Lori or JulieO

I had this in the other forum but thought I better put it somewhere you would see it and it wouldn't get lost in the posts
...are we allowed to use blend modes with these colours? for overlaying etc? It does change the color a bit and I am worried the one lower left brown is more dusky pink when overlay or color blend mode is used like on flowers and ribbons etc. In the pic i attached the left one is color blend mode and the right is overlay
Any idea!!??

Thanks
Tracy

Good question....I had the same thing happen with one of my papers when I tried to blend an overlay on it...it turned quite bright reddish-pink! (I just ended up deleteing that one!)

I see we already have a couple of kits uploaded to the gallery! Wow...I thought I was doing ok with about 2/3's of my kit done!!!

Since this hasn't been answered yet, I am just going to say, use your judgement, if it seems to fit with the palette then it's fine. The flowers in the photos you posted look fine, the lighter colors in the palette do have a slight pinkish look to them. Don't worry too much about one element, just go with your design flow and if it looks right with everything else, it's fine.

I think it looked fine too. You don't want to have fuschia in there, but as long as it looks like it fits, I'd say it's okay.

Thanks Ladies!! I am uploading my kit to 4shared now. Tapping my foot a lot, hate the wait. Off to see if there are any more in the gallery, the Kits so far are awesome, I can't wait to get mine up so I can start downloading the others, simpley beautiful. I love heritage, it's like the birthplace of scrapooking really isn't it!!
