New in the neighborhood...
Hi,Im Rikki, Ive been scrapbooking for many years the old fashioned way, Well Im almost always up for a challenge... I
learn to crochet from my grandmother at the tender age of 4 or 5. I live on the west coast.I have 3 grown children,1 very very cute granddaughter, who started school this year...I love to read, watch horror movies, gardening One of my worse complaints about myself is ...I have no self control when it comes to a book store.. 4 or 5 hours later, with one book, there have been times when Ive emerged with no books. Well thats me in a nutshell , or so Ive been told more than a few times.... thanks for stopping bye. catch ya on the flip side....Rikki

Hi Rikki, welcome to SAS. I was a paper scrapper for many years as well and have all the stuff collecting dust to prove it. And I know what you mean about the hours later and no self control only mine's in Home Depot. Anyway, glad you found us and hope you jump into a few of the monthly challenges. Enjoy,

Hi Rikki! I started many years ago as a paper scrapper, too, but LOVE digiscrapping. On in the West Coast, too (California). And since you mentioned you're up for challenges, make sure to check out the fun challenges we have going right here in the SAS forum - new topics each month. Hi Rikki! Welcome aboard. I'm fairly new here myself and so excited to see your post, I could've written that down to the lost-in-books part (I'm fighting sleepiness here due to a 3:00 am marathon LOL).
I lived in California for many years, and my oldest is in his freshman year out at UOP (I MISS him), but I live in NC now. Can't wait to get to know you better.

Hi Rikki, welcome to SAS. I'm a former paper scrapper too. I resisted digital for the longest time, thinking the layouts were too one dimensional, but I've learned the error of my ways. The most interesting thing for me is the change in my scrapping style. I used to be afraid of "wasting" my best papers by cutting them up. Now I toss in everything but the kitchen sink, because I can just use it again ... and again... and again!
