Happy Holidays to Everyone!

Twas three days before Christmas and my shopping is done!


The wrapping's almost finished and we're ready for some fun.


The house has been decorated with a festive flair,


In the hopes that family soon would be there.


Michelle's boyfriend, Rob, is a jolly young elf,


Who works very hard never thinking of himself.


On the top of the houses he works everyday,


Making sure it's safe for Santa and his sleigh!


I’m in my long johns, ‘cause the weather’s so cold,


While in my mind, visions of Cuba and the wedding, I hold.


Nicky and Jeff are getting married at last,


We’re all excited to get there--and fast.


A tropical wedding in winter is grand,


I can’t wait to sink my feet in the sand!


I’ve been so focused on this, I neglected tradition,


Now I won’t have time to help the postman keep his position.


To the people I love, no cards will I send,


Depressed and guilty, regret is now my best friend.


Oh dear Santa what can I do?


How can I send my greetings to those I love true?


"HOHOHO, you don't need me, my dear,"


He explained, with abundant cheer.


"Your regret will come to an end,


You just need to hit that button marked send"


I did as he said, and my excitement it grew,


I watched as my letter through the internet it flew!


To BC and Ontario, and around the world too,


I send my best wishes for Christmas to you!

I would just like to wish happy holidays to everyone here! (just to clarify Michelle and Nicky are my daughters, the wedding is Jan. 22 and Rob works as a roofer)
