Jan. '09 Musical Moments Challenge

Yay! Gotta love that we made it through another year.... yet a New one is once again upon us. Funny how that works isn't it?

For this month's Musical Moments Challenge I would like to see your layouts revolve around a "Party Song" . A few ideas may include a New Year's Party Celebration, your resolution for the coming year, perhaps you or someone in your family celebrates a Birthday in the New Year, etc. Let your musical ear guide you in finding that perfect party song that will inspire your awesome layout. Be sure to include at least a few lines from the song and the Artist.

Also, post your layout in the Life's Musical Moments Challenge Gallery and a link on this thread directing us to it so we can all ooohhh and awww over it. I have this additional entry, because when I (mistakenly) showed THE PRINCESS the page I posted yesterday for the Fleetwood Mac song "Gold Dust Woman", her Royal Blondness snickered uncontrollably over the age of the song and how HOPELESSLY OUT OF TOUCH I am. So here is a more contemporary song: Coldplay's "Viva La Vida", which begins with the wonderful line "I used to rule the world/the seas would rise when I gave the word." I am so envious; I can't even get anyone to pick up their socks when I give the word.
