LOL "Windy" you did fabulous! I'm now in the mood for coffee (cup #4 *blush*). The frame & ribbon both turned out fabulous, excellent tinkering. Off to pm your pb.

Okay, so I think I'm just over-thinking this. I keep trying to figure out exactly what I need to add to use a new style. Maybe it's because I deign, so I try new stuff as much as I can so when I do a new kit, it's got something totally new for me.

So, for the newest kit I did, I created a granite-look paper and used the paper with a clipping mask on a frame and then filled in another layer to make the translucent middle frame. I was pretty pleased with it. So, I submit a layout featuring that frame.

Does it count??

Default The Gimp

I work with the Gimp so I don't think I can install anything like that (don't know how to anyway...). Since this month is almost over as well I think I better wait 'till march before I'll try your challenge.

*blush* Nani! I'm a little late here, so sorry! Yeah I think it counts A clipping mask is not exactly a style but it sure as heck is trying different technique to make it exciting & fresh. Now the translucent middle frame... not sure how you accomplished it but (me and my buts today) it's definitely altered from its original state! PB on the way girlieeeee

Here's my layout! I used your engrave style on my DD's name & date of birth! Thanks for the great style, Toiny!

The engraving looks real! Awesome job w/the style. And I'm love w/your daughter. I heart newborns. Especially when they are not mine. How old is she now?

PB on the way...

Lynda I love the pages, I love how you found more styles to incorporate. Awesome! Over & above the challenge requirements...
