Pink challenge part 2 (ends Oct. 1)

Welcome to the second part of the challenge, here is were it starts to be a challenge! For this part of the challenge were are adding a color that accents pink, remember we will be adding another color to what you choose..I have chosen brown and white to accent with. Here is the freebie I should of showed you in the first part.





The Pink kit... I broke it down in to 3 downloads. A download for each part of the challenge. Aslo when the store is open coupons will be given to the layout with the most comments.

Remember we are only adding ONE accent color this time..Feel free to ask any questions.

Sorry I need more of an explanation. Are we to use any color of our choice or do we use brown or white? and then in part 3 add the other?

Yep I think I need more of an explanation too. In addition to which colour we're adding, I'm also a bit confused about what we're doing.

Are we to take more photos of things that are pink plus the accent colour? Or re-scrap the original photos but add the accent colour to the layout?

I loved that you gave an example page for the first part, will you be doing another one for this part? That might help enormously!

From my point of view: the purpose of this challenge is to use 3 different colors in one layout. The end result is ONE layout. So the layout should be a work in progress and you won't know until the last part what colors it will be in full. I believe that you are to continue working with your PINK layout but now add an accent color of brown or white to it. Am I right?

I starting to think I'm horriable at explaining things...For the first challenge I choose pink, which we were to take pictures of pink things around our house, now we are to take pics of something that has a color that YOU think accents with pink. These challenges are meant to help with cornating colors. I made a kit for a freebie, you can use if you want to. Brown and white are an example of colors the accent with pink. So for this challenge I would take a new picture of my favorite shirt which is brown and put it with one of my pink pics and scrap some fun stuff about my colors... Remember we are only add one color..

So Kara, My understanding is that we use pink and any color WE think goes well with pink, right? Such as I can use pink and yellow or pink and blue or pink and green. Is this correct?

-What about journaling? Last time we had to journal about pink...do we have to journal about why we think those colors go together well?

-Do we have to take photos of things that have those 2 colors?

No, you can use any color that you think accents Pink, she just used brown and white as examples. Right?

I had so much fun doing the first and second color challange.I just want to do the third already and add that third color.But I better wait in case the instructions are different.

OK, are we supposed to using the SAME LO as we started with and accent that with another color? or are we creating a whole new LO. I thought we were creating a whole new LO..... (I am new to challenges and have done only a few of them so far so I feel like I am missing some instructions here)

I am not sure if I am doing this challenge correctly or not but I understand that we are to include a pink photo from the first LO and than add photos of another color with it so we have now a two color LO. I also understood that we were to journal on how we felt about these colors. Anyway, here is my LO for part two.

Was not sure if I had to add to the part 1 layout or make a new page so
I made a new one as my part 1 didnt have much room to add Hope I did it right I left room to add part 3 on the new page

I posted awhile back that I was not sure what we were supposed to do. I STILL have not gotten a reply so I have not done my page yet and have only 10 more days left.

What I DO know is that we are supposed to add a color to PINK, but that is all I know. Do I do an all new LO or do I add to the current one? My understanding is that we do an all NEW one, so that is what I will do unless told differently. PLEASE tell me what we are supposed to be doing!! (I am fairly new to challenges).

Kara sent me a PM telling me that she intended that we do an all new LO with the 2 colors. So here is mine.

I choose pink and yellow because pink is my older daughter's favorite color and yellow is my younger daughter's favorite color. I believe that they fit together really well.
