They should be sized perfectly for your avatar pic... go to UserCP and select Edit Avatar on the list on the left... you should be able to upload from your computer by clicking on the Browse button.

If you want it in your signature, you have two options. In UserCP, select Edit Signature from the list on the left. First option is to upload from your computer by clicking on the Browse button. Second option is to upload the pic to an image hosting site like Photobucket. Once uploaded, you will see the IMG code. Copy that code and paste it into the box under Edit Signature in UserCP. Then click Preview and you should see the image in your signature! If everything looks right, you can click on Save Signature and you're all set!
