Annual SAS-y Lady Contest 2009 The search is ON for the next new SAS Designer. Sign-ups are now until September 1st, 2009. Once the 1st assignment is released (9.1.2009) sign-ups will close. The top three Contestants will WIN Design Team member spots at SAS and their own store! Voting in rounds 1-3 are open to the public. Final voting for round 4 will be by the SAS Design Team. All winners will be announced on September 30, 2009.

I also want to offer a HUGE congratulations to every single Designer who participated. It takes a lot of bravery to put yourself out there, and you all DID IT! I have enjoyed getting to know you, your designs and your personalities. It has been just, well, fun, LOL. I'm going to miss all the hoopla and I'm sad to see it all end.

I finally had to leave work because I couldn't stand the wait, but of course the second I walked in the door, I turned my computer on. I am stunned! Happily stunned, but stunned nonetheless!

Congratulations to Brenda and Veelena -- but also to everyone else who participated. I would NOT have wanted to vote in the last round; I thought all the kits were fantastic and everyone really showed what great, creative designers you are. Best of luck to all of us wherever the road leads next...

I wanted to say this earlier, but couldnt think of what to write. I really enjoyed designing side by side with everyone that was in the contest. Everyone has their own unique way of design, and I enjoyed seeing all of the kits. I know that it was hard for me to put myself out there to be judged, and I'm sure alot of others were just as nervous. I wish we all could have made it to the final three.

You did a great job this week and to the remaining 8 ladies (((big HUGS))), you all did a fantastic job also, I thought the vote was going to be easey this week but the more I looked at the kits the more I realised it wasn't such an easy vote afterall ..... what a great group of Designers you all are and I wish you all the very best in whatever road you take as a Designer
