Okay so I am going to try something I've only heard about. This chat we are going to try a challenge/game that is like a progressive scrap but also like chinese whispers. Everyone at the chat will take it in turns choosing from a list of items to add to a page.

Below is a master list we will be choosing from. You might want to keep a copy of it handy during the chat.

Just bring these items to the chat with one picture to scrap and we'll have a chinese whispers crop.

So Who all is coming. This should lots of fun.
And don't worry we won't be super strict on the rules. it's all about having fun!!!

All who come to the chat will receive a bonus freebie add on to Gabriella by me. See below


Bring a photo and a coordinating scrap kit to work with that has the following items or similar

Patterned papers
solid Papers
Frame
Ribbon
Tag
Bow
clips and/or fasteners
flower
flourish
elements

So bring your stash and come scrap with me and have some fun in the chat room at 8pm est on Monday 18th!!


Please note the kit doesn't have to be from the Studio.

Here are the steps from tonight's chat, have fun with it

1. Pick a paper
2. Add a photo in a frame
3. add a flourish
4. add a bow
5. add a tag
6. add 3 fancy buttons
7. add a flower or as many as you like
8. add 3 staples or similar
9. add leaf or foliage or similar
10. add 2 ribbons
11. add cropped patterned paper

save and post in the gallery so we can all ooh and ahh!!

Sure Kim, I am thinking I will try and copy it all down (the steps I mean LOL) so that others can still do it afterwards, though they won't get the freebie as that will be a link shared at the chat.

At least they can still have the fun of the game.

Well darn it all! My daughter is sick! Not the flu type of sick, but the runny nose, sore throat, miserable & whiny kind of sick! Sooo, not sure if I will be able to make it tonight, she's probably not going to sleep very well with a stuffed up nose...

theStudio runs on Eastern Time, so everything that gets scheduled will be Eastern!

Haven't chatted here before, but I will try. I was able to sign in to the chatroom, and even made it big and light enough for me to read. LOL Will that setting save, or will I have to fiddle with it every time I play? Anybody know?

How long will we have to do the layout? I have to change desktops everytime I use my PSE and use a different desktop for the chat - that means restarting my pc for each thing. Can I come to the chat and then get the layout done right after??

Of course if you come to the chat I will be keeping a list of pieces to add and order and then I will post it in the thread so you can always do it after and post. I will give you all a few days to post your pages. There is no prize as such for this challenge apart from the prize you get for coming to the chat. but it should be fun and that's what it's all about. And about taking the chat room for a spin and seeing how well it works. So please excuse me if I am a little befuddled by the chatroom itself LOL

No it's only midday here in sydney and 8pm usa EST LOL
