February 2010 Recipe Card Challenge

I love collecting and trying out new recipes! If you want to join me in this month's challenge, here's what you need to do:

1. Click HERE to download the FREE starter kit to use as a resource if you want (preview below). It includes this month's recipe labels, the color palette to use (coordinates with theStudio's mega kit of the month), templates, papers and elements, and example recipe cards.

2. For February, think chocolate!! Pies, cakes, cookies, candies ~ any kind of dessert that has chocolate in it.

3. Design your recipe card(s) however you'd like. Check the TOU for any papers, elements, and fonts you use. Since we'll be sharing the cards at the end of the month, products used should be S4O, S4H, or CU products ~ not "personal use only." Be sure to include your name, forum name, e-mail address ~ whatever you want ~ on the card.

4. All recipe cards should be 4" x 6" and saved as a jpeg, quality of 10.

WHEN FINISHED:

1. E-mail your high quality recipe card to LetMeScrapbook@hotmail.com so it can be included in the download file at the end of the month.

2. Upload a picture of your card to the Recipe Card Challenge Gallery.

3. Post a link here no later than February 28 so we can leave you some love and so you'll be eligible for your points.

At the end of the month, all participants will receive your points and a link to download all the cards created that month. Bon appétit!!

Reminder about POINTS EARNED for completing this challenge:
• You'll earn 10 points for the first recipe card and 5 points for each additional card.
• If you complete all theStudio challenges this month, you'll earn a 100 point BONUS.
• 100 points = $1 to the store.
• Points may be redeemed at any time. PM Toiny or any Admin at the Studio.

great challenge Maurine, since i work in a chocolate factory I am not one for making stuff with chocolate at home..maybe chocolate chip cookies..lol, or brownies..maybe next month i will give it a go, love the starter kit. maybe i can make up some labels as gifts..

Ahem - you COULD share the recipe's for the chocolate you make in the factory!

lol...Oh yes, I agree on this one! (except we don't want you to get into trouble with your boss.) If I worked in a chocolate factory I'd be the size of a house. I cannot, cannot, cannot resist good chocolate.

Here is my recipe with chocolate in it. My family says it is delicious. We never have leftovers at home or wherever I take it. Hope you enjoy it.

This is my recipe for this month. This cake is so moist. The zucchini can be grated and then frozen so that it can be made in the winter. It is always a hit.
