Second attempt-hooray!
Pixelmator worked, but I am going to look into the the program you suggested.
By the way, all elements used in both of my word arts are from SKrapper Digitals' contribution to the January Megakit, SnowGames.  Thanks!

Second attempt, cont.
I am so excited about this!! I never like to use the app. Pixelmator on my Mac, because I always learn by trial and error, and there's too much error for personal comfort for me on such a technical program. Well, maybe not technical for others, but it is for me! But your advice worked great for my program, too! Thanks!!!

I really like this challenge. I use the stroke feature alot, although I tend to put the stroke on it's own layer, but the magic wand has always frustrated me! Now I think I can play with it & learn more about what it can do. Here is my first attempt at decorated word art. Thanks Kimberkatt!

Whoohooo! Look at all the purtty, purtty wordart in the gallery!! You ladies are doing fantastic!! I'm so glad you all are enjoying the challenge and learning some new tricks, too!!
 Those of you without Photoshop are amazing me here! I'm sooo happy you all can adapt the instructions for your programs! Yay!!

My try at the word art challenge
 I have a totally different program so I hoping this follows the rules. Don't have some of the features you described but I flattened and then shadowed to try to get the sticker effect. Kendra

Ooooh.... I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this new challenge! I've already been playing with it and have made word arts on my own a few times but am always wanting to learn something new

I figure I'd ask if we could have an alphabet making challenge or maybe some tutorials since you do seem to specialize in that I've made a few of those. One was a sticker alphabet but I used an action by atomic cupcake since it never dawned on me to use the stroke... doh!
