Being a genealogy buff this type of challenge is so appreciated. My mom never threw anything away and have a TRUNK full of photos, will never be done scrapping them!! Thank you so much for hosting this, hope it is a monthly occurrence. Here is mine.

Question, there is a gallery upload option for Monthly Heritage LO of the Month. Do we submit our layouts there for consideration or is that for display of LO which have been chosen by staff? May need to take one out if it is winners.

We will definitely be having at least a Monthly Heritage Lo of the Month but are still in the rebuilding stages of it. So the gallery is there, but we haven't given out instructions. I will get back to you! Thanks for asking

I just want to add that I am absolutely loving all of your layouts! I can't get enough of old pictures. My dh thinks I'm funny sometimes cause I get so excited about HIS side of the family, too. But I love this stuff, love history, especially our family histories. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful pictures and layouts, ladies!

of all the pictures that I have, this is one thing I cannot scrap. I don't have any wedding pictures of my family. I have everything else, though!!! I am going to participate in the challenge next month, if I have the pictures for it!!!!

My mom would skin me if she knew I used their photos in a heritage challenge. Because she probably doesn't consider the 60s heritage yet, but I didn't have any wedding photos of my grandparents or older. Or at least I thought I didn't. But my mom tells me many of the old photos I have were taken on their wedding day. I guess you just always look for the big white dress, but you could do a layout of the lovely couple with info on their marriage?

I have just started working on a book for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, which will be late next year. This was the perfect inspiration for me to get the wedding pic scrapped for the beginning of the book. Here is my LO.
