Tuesday Speed Scrap with Piggy Scraps

Hi Ladies,

Post blatantly stolen from Tracy

Tuesday's Chat will be a speed scrap, lots of fun and giggles at these kinds of scraps so if you can find the time to be free at 3pm EST come along and play. I will be giving you your steps and you will get a page done.

How it works:
you get given a step about every 10 minutes in the chat room across one hour then you have another hour to post your layout in the speed scrap gallery Day 2 and post the link from the address bar at the top of your browser back here in this thread.

If you don't have a particular thing I ask you to add to your page you can improvise with something similar. It's all about the fun remember!!

I hope you all can find the time to come along it is lots of fun

I will be posting the steps here in the forum too for those who are still a little bit too shy to come into the chat room or in case you miss it.

STEPS:

• • • Pick 3 pieces of paper, solid, textured, plain, patterned… up to you. Layer for your background.
    • Pick 1 frame, 1 photo. Place in the middle towards the right hand side.
    • Add a ribbon over the frame.
    • Fasten the ribbon & frame to the page (stitches, brads, staples, pins, buttons, tape….)
    • Add a flourish, branch or foliage under the photo & frame
    • Add a title on bottom left
    • Embellish the title (with 1, 2, 3 however many elements you’d like)

Well today and tomorrow you can count me out - mid-afternoon at -5 GMT is workday (BOO HOO). But I might come and play anyway, using the instructions. Why not?

That's okay Sally, you can most certainly play along when you have the time! I figured, with the turnout last night, that most people prefer the night time chats, but I just can't guarantee that I will be available for the entire hour with my two little ones! Afternoon, for me, I can guarantee - I can ship them next door to Grandma's! LOL!

Here's mine. I laughed when I saw Toniy's, put your ribbon above your frame, and I really put it above, not on. LOL Funny how we interpert things.

OK, after goofing off at work and hanging in the chat room for about 20 minutes, and starting my layout, I knew I'd have to leave before the end. And now I'm home (waiting to be fed-dh is taking dinner tonight) and just finished my layout using the instructions.

It is a real motley collection of papers and elements, but finding something more masculine is difficult.

Do I qualify for the flowers? I was there!
