Finally I can upload, I've been struggling the whole day, our internet connection is real crap today. I did not count my butterflies. I made a scatter brush and painted the background paper. Here is my day 6.

I had to do all 150. I put 144 in grid form to make it easier for you to count. Some of the layouts are so creative in how they got them all on.

At first I thought, "NO WAY!" Apparently I changed my mind today....hee, hee, hee:
*Day 6 with 150 flutterbys
*Day 6 - minimalist approach

With all the butterflys, I thought I should point out the subtle move with today's paper. I clipped it to a small scallop flower and tucked it under the diamond in the top right corner for a pop of color amongst all that grey.

So I'll confess, there are actually more than 150 but since my "butterfly ruffle" goes off the page, I added more throughout the layout. I must say I really like it, which surprises the heck out of me as last night I though more flowers and a swirl were gonna be too much. Too funny. Thanks, Min! Hope it gives you a laugh.

Also, I know I had a posting problem this week. Still don't know why my program is acting up and not working properly; however, I found a work around by saving as GIF through "save for web/device" option. Whew!!! I've reposted all the previous days steps.

Maggi! I love it. The brush idea was quite clever. I also like how you morphed the butterflys to make them look so different.

Ok that took a while, I'm another one of those nutters who just had to do IT. Most of mine were individually placed, tho I did cheat and copy some sets of 10. Whew!

I had to show one of my photos otherwise it would have looked dorky. and no there are no butterflys under the photo!

It's hard to catch and train butterflies while doing housework w/ two little ones and preparing for a busy day tomorrow, but I promise no butterflies were harmed in the making of my LO!

All right, some explanation for my page.

I have a standing policy that if a family member has input to give on a page about them, I try to comply. So, here is my Honey's idea, which I followed, and he said looks perfect, after much constructive criticism through the day.

Therefore, I hereby forfeit my 150 butterfly bonus, brazenly acknowledging that: I, allergy_mom, have knowingly and willfully added 160 butterflies to my page.

I have added numbers to each letter for your calculating assistance (not to mention my own!) The numbers equal 140, plus an additional 19 flitting about, and one more looking for some nectar.

Sorry, 'bout that, but it's really hard to train butterflies, they have such tiny brains, you know...
