APRIL's Heritage Theme Challenge is...

GENERATIONS!

The theme for April is Generations.

These can include you or go way back in your tree. You can use any ONE picture that includes 3 different generations or more. Or if you have none like that, use THREE different pictures or more of each generation on your layout. Here's two very different ways to do this challenge:

Generational pictures, yay that is something that I do have ! I think I might be participating in my first heritage challenge this month .

HMMM... I remember i was about 3 yrs old, and my mom and gram stood as my great gram held me in her lap as a photo was taken, but Ive never seen the pic! Ill have to email and bug my mom to look for it!

Oh you definitely need to track down that pic! That would be awesome to have!

Here is my LO for challege. It is my Mom, me, my daughter, my grand daughter and her two children, my great grand children.

Here is a link to another lo of 7 generations on my DH side. It doesn't meet the Challenge rules because it isn't one picture. I really love Genealogy. I have my mom's tree back to 864 A.D.(36 Gens) of course I do not have photos.

Was there royalty in that line? I think it would be great to have it back that far. I've been working on my husband's side and while I've found names back to the 1500's I have hardly ANY pictures at ALL!!

Yes, my maternal 36th great grandfather was Mervyn Vryen, King of the Isle of Man Wales. He married the King of Wales' daughter Essylt.
It took a lot of searching. We have copies of a lot of Historical Notes.
We have our Wales Tartans for both Pugh/Hughes (paternal) and Evans (maternal) The Evans are the direct decendents of the King.
