Here are the instructions for this month's recipe card challenge/exchange:
1. Click HERE to download the FREE starter kit. Please use this kit (or papers/elements you design in the same color palette) so the cards will "coordinate" and to ensure we don't violate other designers' TOU. 2. The theme for this month's cards is COOKIES: sugar, chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal, no-bake, "bars", etc. 3. Design your recipe card(s) however you'd like. Include your name, forum name, e-mail address ~ whatever you want ~ on the card. 4. Create your original card at 6" wide X 4" tall (1800 and 1200 pixels) and save it as a 300 ppi jpeg, quality of 10. These are the print-quality cards that will be shared with all participants. You will also need to resize your card at 72 dpi to post in the gallery. WHEN FINISHED: 1. E-mail your 300 dpi recipe card to LetMeScrapbook@hotmail.com so it can be included in the download file at the end of the month. Several participants have asked for blank copies of the cards you design, so if you're willing to send me both (with and without the words), that would be great! 2. Upload a picture of your 72 dpi card to the Recipe Card Challenge Gallery. 3. Post a link here no later than June 30 so we can leave you some love and so you'll be eligible for your points. At the end of the month, all participants will receive your points and a link to download all the cards created that month. Bon appétit!! Reminder about POINTS EARNED for completing this challenge: • You'll earn 10 points for the first recipe card and 5 points for each additional card. • If you complete all theStudio challenges this month, you'll earn a 100 point BONUS. • 100 points = $1 to the store. • Points may be redeemed at any time. PM Toiny or any Admin at the Studio.

I'm excited to see some new faces here, and I'd love to have you join in! Let me know if you have any questions I can help with.
It's a pretty easy, laid back challenge. You get a nice reward of ALL the recipe cards submitted for the month, plus lots of matching blank cards to add your own recipes to. |

This will probably never happen again -- I'm first to post a card! : )
My first recipe is for a yummy "cookie" called Peanut Butter Temptations. Last edited by Maurine Stettler; 06-01-2010 at 04:47 PM. |

Welcome to the forum! I hope you'll join us in the recipe card challenge/exchange this month.
Your question prompted me to change my instructions slightly -- the card is actually 6" wide by 4" tall, or 1800 by 1200 pixels, and it should have been 300 ppi, or pixels per inch. I'm old and still call it dpi! Basically, this just means to first create your card so it will print at a high quality. Does that help? Or if anyone else sees this and can explain it better, please feel free! : ) Last edited by Maurine Stettler; 06-03-2010 at 12:54 PM. |

Vermont Maple Cookies is my all time favorite cookie recipe. I luvvvvv this cookie. I was going to put a photo on the card, but there just wasn't enough room. These are soft, cake like cookies. Try them, if you like Maple, if not, just use vanilla, or lemon, or rum flavorings.
