This thread is specifically for any questions you may have along the way! Feel free to ask questions anytime regardless of if we've covered it in the daily lessons so far.
I will make every attempt to answer whatever questions you have and/or let you know what day we'll cover that material. Remember chances are if you have a question someone else has probably wondered the same thing so ask away! You can also reply with specific topics you'd like to see covered in this class or a future class. Thank you! |

I don't seem to have the option in PSE7 for making groups. Is there a work around to work with groups in PSE7?

No, PSE doesn't currently support layer groups (I just looked up the current version). There's not really another direct way to do group. You can make sure to arrange your layers in order in the layers palette and make sure they're labeled clearly.
Also, another option would be to clip all your embellishments to the bottom house shaped page we create previously. You would do this just like we clipped paper to our template, just don't merge when you're done. If you clip everything for one page to the bottom house layer, you can hide the entire group with one click of the eye next to that bottom layer. I often clip like this even when nothing I'm working with hangs outside of the borders of my bottom layer simply because it makes hiding & unhiding a snap. HTH!

Very clever! I made 10 pages before I saw this post. I ended up just opening the PSD file for each page: a couple of times I duplicated the PSd file & that worked too .
