Birthday Bash Progressive Scrap - Day 5

LOL - I better tell you all about the "extra" challenge before this gets out of hand and Toiny bans me for inducing discussions about elephant poop

I hope you're all on the edge of your seats by now....

First I want to tell you though how much you all awe me with your creativity. Hosting this challenge is not only a lot of fun (ahem) but also wonderful to observe how different our ideas and perceptions are even though we're all using the same ingredients and have the same goal...

Before this gets too philosophical, here's a look at the wonderful goodies in today's download: A zigzag-stich by Jeanette aka mITSYBELLE, a blueberry (!) by Toiny aka Piggy Scraps Design and a tag by Sherah aka SKrapper Digitals




I will pm you with the download link after you posted a link to your Day4 layout in the Day4 thread.

Instructions: Use the tag once, the zigzag stitch twice and the blueberry three times!

Upload your layout to the Birthday Bash Progressive Scrap gallery and post a link to it here in this thread (that's where I will look for it).

So much for the regular Progressive Scrap.

Now to all you blueberry-ants-and-elephants-lovers out there: I've been giving this a lot of thought, had my ants and elephants all ready to go - but then I looked at the gallery again, at your wonderful layouts and decided not to "spoil" them with ants swarming over it or elephants squishing blueberries (not too mention other things, LOL). You will get an extra challenge nevertheless - even it is a little more "boring" as you might have expected it to be :

Add at least 100 more blueberries to your layout, using only Toiny's single berry (see above) and the ones I included as second download in today's pm. This extra challenge is completely voluntary and not required!!!!

The berries in today's second download are from my Blueberry Picnic mini - the one you'll get as participation prize for finishing this Progressive.

As in February there will be two different votes at the end - one for those who accepted the extra challenge, one for the regular layouts.

I do have a little extra prize for the extra challenge, as well, here's a look at it :

One more information for you all: I will be holding a "Meet-The-Designer/End-Of-Progressive-Chat on Sunday, Sept 12th, 3 pm EST in the Studio's chatroom - and I will give away my second Blueberry Picnic mini to those in attendance.

Phew - I hope that's all, feel free to ask any questions you might have concerning this.

Oh I can't wait to get my pm...but it's way past my bedtime so will pick it up in the morning. Thank you Min for making this so much fun. Hope my pink elephant didn't get you in trouble. Guess I better teach him better manners before I let the little bugger out to rampage next time. Hmmm..maybe I can newspaper train him..do they make a newpaper big enough??? :eek:

yup - you just continue as usual - either with a "regular" day 5 layout or with a "blueberried" day 5 layout

whichever you choose will be your basis for day 6 and 7 (hope that makes sense...)

Here's mine for

I accepted the blueberry challenge & included 101 extra blueberries on my Lo in addition to the 3 by piggyscraps for the day5 challenge. I counted them several times!!lololol
I strung the blueberries on string to make necklaces. Pearls are too much most of the time. I wish I had a blueberry necklace.Wouldn't that be fun to wear.

99 of my blueberries are cascading from the basket, or piled in the corner. The last blueberry is blended into my tag. Thanks for the fun - nothing like a bit of overkill to liven up a challenge a bit, lol!
