Hmmm. I don't have ideas not already mentioned other than comfort food. That would be a good one during the winter. Favorite mac and cheese recipes or stews or snacky things could all show up in there.

Mmmm... reading all those suggestions made me go hungry again, even though I've just eaten. *g*

What about dishes with meat (chicken, beef, sausages etc., could be separate themes)? Or fish.
Soups would be a good idea too. And potato recipes.
Or special food, like recipies we brought home from a holiday abroad.

I made a YUMMY *FISH* dish today. How about that for an idea.
Also I was thinking you could do individual items...like STRAWBERRIES (or berries) or BROCCOLI and CAULIFLOWER.
Still would like to see a ASIAN theme.

I Love Peanut Butter on & In many things. How About Recipes with Peanut Butter in them.

MUFFINS!! I love MUFFINS!! Also, how about Beans, and Make-a-Mix. Muffins could be down in tans and creams (remember the nursery rhyme, The Muffin Man?. For beans, you could use black, red, dk. red, green, yellow, off white to go with the various colors of beans.

I don't know if it's been suggested before or not, but I have a problem finding dishes for 2...since it is my hubby and me most of the time, trying to cook for the 2 of us is hard. I find most recipes, when you cut them down, they don't have the same flavor. So I would suggest RECIPES FOR 2.
Also, I was thinking, FAMILY PICNICS...how about recipes for outside gatherings? I know we have our pretty much "the usual" and I would LOVE to see what someone else might take. WE NEED SOME FRESH IDEAS! :-)

1. Secret Recipe/Military Secrets - Every family has a secret recipe
2. Chowder/Seafood - Everything seafood.. Lobster, crabs, and shrimp
3. Emergency Tested - Things I could make without electricity--preparedness stuff
4. 30 Minute Meal - Things I can make quickly, after a crazy day at work
5. Superbowl - Those party foods... superbowl levels
6. Mom's/Dad's Specialty - That recipe only my mom/dad can make
7. Smoothies
8. Diet (or ww points?)
9. Casseroles
10. Slow Cooker
11. Sandwiches - can't wait to share my favorites

13. Side Dish (and what it goes best with--ie chicken, beef)
14. Dinner Party
15. Allergy free - gluten, dairy, nuts
16. Vegetarian
17. Snacks- Salty or Sweet!!!

Love all the challenges I have been a part of! It helps me organize the mess of recipes that are in my cupboard and allows me to find new favorites from others!

Navy, Red, Blue, Aqua, Light blue, Gray, White-ish
The papers could have red or navy or aqua/white stripes
Cute embellishments like crab/lobster, ships wheel, pendant flags, anchor or light house. I would love to see a frame in the red or aqua. (loving those colors right now)
